This is a horizontal photograph of an open cosmetic compact. We see the round mirror and the round base which holds the face powder. The compact was dropped onto a small pile of powder and the resulting image shows a frozen action photograph of the outwardly expanding powder explosion. Shot on a black plexiglass surface we also see powder rising in the air behind the compact.
